TOUR INFORMATION

The Cashmere Museum & Pioneer Village is home to a Columbia River Archaeology collection that dates back 9,000 years before the present, an extraordinary regional Native American collection, railroad and mining exhibits, natural history dioramas, gems & mineral displays, and local pioneer history. Old Mission, our pioneer village houses 20 original cabins brought from within a 30 mile radius, a Great Northern caboose, ticket office, section house, and the Stoffel waterwheel, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

If your group of 15 or more people is interested in a scheduled museum tour we have special rates of $2.50 adult and $1.50 per child! We also feature knowledgeable docents (or guides) if you desire a guided tour. Our knowledgeable volunteer docents take time out of their busy lives for tours, so please let us know in advance if you would like docents for your tour.

School tours are always welcome! It is wise to schedule your schools tour as far in advance as possible, keeping in mind that May and June are peak months for school tours. The museum staff can assist you in making your visit an excellent educational experience.
We also have reasonable rates for special events such as weddings and family reunions.
The museum grounds feature a large picnic area, or we can assist in arranging a catered lunch for your group.

The Cashmere Museum and Pioneer Village is wheelchair accessible, although some of the grounds are a little bumpy and uneven. Guides for visually impaired guests are free.

To contact the museum for your tour, please give us a call at 509-782-3230 or send e-mail to info@cashmeremuseum.org .
